First author event

Ida Stark

Meet me at Alingsås Kulturhus!
I'll be joining an event for local authors in Alingsås on April 26, 2025, from 09:00 to 15:00—and I’d love for you to come by! Meet me and other writers, get inspired, and enjoy a day filled with stories and creativity.

These days, I don’t have much time to write—life with a baby and my other kids keeps me busy—so I’m really excited to take this opportunity to talk about my book and connect with fellow authors and readers.

Hope to see you there!

So...first post

Ida Stark

So, I’m thinking about starting this blog thing again. If there are any readers—fun! For me, I guess it's also a way to gather my thoughts—thoughts that have been entangled in my head.

After finishing my bachelor’s degree in computer science, I’m now embracing a new phase of life as my dear physicist and I await the arrival of our baby son. The process of creating new life has surely taken a lot of energy and focus. I’m glad we’ve come this far and hope all goes well as we welcome him (most likely) in March.

The little energy I find in between all the focus on creating new life (and managing the one I already have), I’ve spent on reading books and articles and working on my music. I try to allow my mind to be open, listening to both my strengths and flaws, in thoughts and in music. Today, I started a mind map for the information structure of a potential system—funny how inspiration arrives unexpectedly.

Oh, and some time ago, I also created a webpage… I plan on doing something with it eventually.

But nowadays, time (as well as myself) moves slowly, and I spend a lot of it reading. Any book recommendations?

Stories to be told

Ida Stark

Over a year has passed since I published the second edition of The Essence of Loneliness. Since then, I’ve done some writing, though not as much as I’d like. But do I miss it? Absolutely. Writing isn’t just something I want to do—it’s something I need.

This webpage provides contact information regarding the book, and I will continue to publish new content here. Please read and leave your comments—they inspire me even more.
